Dr. Trish Green was born and raised in Pensacola and is excited about bringing her unique skills back to her hometown. She is one of the few fellowship-trained breast imagers in the country – completing a fellowship at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital in 2001 under the direction of some of the leading experts in the field of mammography and diagnostic radiology. While at Mass General, she also received specialty training in body imaging and dedicated women’s imaging. Following her fellowship she was appointed clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School, where she was involved in teaching medical students, radiology residents and fellows. Now married with two daughters, she has nearly 10 years experience in private practice and has interpreted thousands of mammograms and imaging studies, including PET/CT.
“My goal is to diagnose medical disease and cancer at the earliest point possible— when there is the greatest possibility of successful treatment. I approach every patient’s imaging study as if it were my mom or dad, sister or brother,” said Dr. Green. Her approach echoes the philosophy of the entire Woodland’s medical team — to best serve the needs of the patient’s we encounter by using a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. With her office onsite at the Woodland’s, she is able to discuss patient’s imaging studies directly with the physicians treating the patient to correlate with the patient’s clinical scenario.
