He is a skilled and knowledgeable physician with a gift for immediately putting his patients at ease. Dr. Inclan came to the United States as a child and is devoted to his family and proud of his Cuban heritage.
Born in Habana, Cuba, Dr. Inclan earned his medical degree from Wayne State University Medical School in Detroit, Michigan. He fulfilled his residency in Internal Medicine and completed an Oncology fellowship with Baylor Affiliated Hospitals in Houston, Texas. Dr. Inclan is board certified in Oncology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Inclan joined Hope Medical Group, now a division of Woodlands Medical Specialists, in 1991. He has published several research papers and received honors evaluations in Internal Medicine and Pediatric Rotation while at Wayne State University. He is also a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Physicians.
Patients are extremely loyal to Dr. Tan. They understand that he always gives 100% to every patient to provide them with comprehensive medical care. Dr. Tan is extremely proactive and energetic – two traits that rub off on his peers and his patients.
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Tan earned his medical degree from University of Missouri in Kansas City, Missouri. He fulfilled his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor Affiliated Hospitals in Houston, Texas, and completed a fellowship in Clinical Oncology with the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. He is board certified in Oncology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Tan joined Hope Medical Group in 1992 and is now proud to be a part of the Woodlands Medical Specialists team. He has served on the board of Health First Network, Health First Network Solutions, and Hospice of Northwest Florida.
Dr. Andrews and education go hand in hand. He offers patients an extensive background in research and has served as a professor. He has the ability to translate his knowledge to patients in a way they understand, putting them at ease. He is personable, and is a caregiver and also a friend.
Born in Abbeville, South Carolina, Dr. Andrews earned his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta. He fulfilled his residency at Louisiana State University Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana, and completed a Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
Dr. Andrews joined Hope Medical Group (now a division of the Woodlands Medical Specialists) in 1999. Academic appointments have included Director of Stem Cell Transplantation at Baptist Hospital, Director Bone Marrow Transplant Program, and Director of Hematopoiesis Western Pennsylvania Hospital. He has published more than 45 articles related to cancer research, as well as served in the USAF Reserve Medical Service Corps and Medical Corps.
Dr. Patel embraces cutting edge medicine. He is an active researcher and is a principal investigator on several oncology studies. Dr. Patel looks for innovative approaches to health care. He is efficient, effective, decisive and confident. His patients feel secure, knowing they are in good hands.
Dr. Patel is from India and was raised in Nebraska. He earned his medical degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center and fulfilled his residency in Internal Medicine and completed a Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He is board certified in Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Patel joined Hope Medical Group, now a division of Woodlands Medical Specialists, in 2001. He is appointed to Baptist Hospital, Sacred Heart Hospital, and Gulf Breeze Hospital. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Empathic. Caring. Passionate. These three words describe Dr. Fitzgerald. He is a physician who brings humanity to the health care arena. Dr. Fitzgerald has walked in the shoes of family members caring for loved ones facing cancer and truly understands the needs of his patients and their families.
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Fitzgerald earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Memphis, Tennessee. He fulfilled his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Tennessee and completed a Hematology/Oncology fellowship at The University of Alabama in Birmingham. He is board certified in Hematology, Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Fitzgerald joined Hope Medical Group, now a division of Woodlands Medical Specialists, in 2002. He has published more than 20 articles related to his cancer research in various scientific publications. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry/Biochemistry from the University of South Florida and completed postdoctoral research at the Lee H. Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute at the University of South Florida, Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Vanderbilt University, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the University of Tennessee.
Attention to detail and an unceasing commitment to patient care are the two qualities that best describe Dr. Rami Owera. Dr. Owera is dedicated not only to devising the best possible treatment strategy for each patient, but also to ensuring his patients fully understand their custom treatment plan prior to receiving it.
After completing medical school at Aleppo University in Syria, Dr. Owera fulfilled his residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia’s Department of Internal Medicine and fellowship at the university's Ellis Fischel Cancer Center where he served as chief fellow.
After practicing in Salt Lake City, Dr. Owera was drawn to the southern hospitality of Pensacola and the team of dedicated physicians at Woodlands Medical Specialists. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology, and board-certified in hematology, oncology and internal medicine.
Dr. Owera's approach to health care is one of pure authenticity. He is confident, committed and genuine with his patients and their families. When he is not making himself available to their needs, he spends time with his family.
Dr. Maunglay was born and raised in Burma, also known as Myanmar. He received his medical degree from Marmara University School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. He completed the internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Christ Medical Center and his hematology-oncology fellowship at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa. He is board-certified in oncology and internal medicine.
Dr. Maunglay is a compassionate physician who is deeply committed to his work and his patients. He is consistently pursuing the latest advances in oncology and has presented his research on lung cancer both nationally and internationally. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Presentation Award at the Research Symposium 2009 at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Beg is no stranger to kindness. In her field of cancer care, she understands that a strong relationship with her patients can help in their speedy recovery. It’s this level of care that her patients respond to most.
Originally born in the beautifully pristine state of Wyoming, Dr. Beg started her medical journey as a nutrition counselor in Colorado. She later earned her medical degree at Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. Quickly returning home, she completed her internship at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, and her residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She went on to complete her fellowship at Scott and White in Temple, TX.
As of September 2011, Dr. Beg joins the Woodlands Medical Specialists in delivering patient-focused care. When she isn’t cooking, swimming, reading for leisure, traveling, volunteering or serving her patients, she spends time with her husband, Dr. Ahmed, also with the Woodlands, and their two children.
Dr. Beg is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and has privileges at Baptist, Sacred Heart, Gulf Breeze and West Florida Hospital. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
