Job Description: The IT Specialist will perform a wide variety of tasks which includes installing, verifying, and testing the installation of Desktop Computers (PC’s), Printers, Network hardware, and Firewalls. Will verify or assist in verifying, that installations are compliant with requirement performance specifications; and update and maintain configuration databases. Will administer and maintain the companies various applications and Windows systems. Will provide updates, status and completion information to CIO and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail or in-person communication.
Required:
Understanding of firewalls, load balancers, routers and complex network topologies
Identifies and procures the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements.
Installs, maintains and troubleshoots various network related equipment and company Firewall.
Installs or oversees installation of hardware and components such as monitors, keyboards, and printers.
Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications.
Assists in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users’ requirements.
Administers e-mail and anti-virus systems.
Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.
Administers the acquisition and placement of telephones.
Directly provide services in the form of problem resolution, troubleshooting, training and support on any IT equipment
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, and software problems.
Perform daily operational functions in support of all systems and networks.
Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks.
Answers, evaluates, and prioritize incoming telephone, voicemail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related issues.
Prepares standard statistical reports, such as help desk incident reports.
Analyzes and evaluates incident reports, and makes recommendation to reduce help line incident rate.
Develops training materials such as exercises and visual displays.
Writes and speaks clearly and concisely
Works with minimal supervision
Effective interpersonal skills
Demonstrates ability to prioritize conflicting demands
Performs other duties as assigned.

Summary Description: Prepares and submits insurance claims; reviews, and adjusts accounts to ensure accurate and thorough billing of claims; monitors and ensures timely receipt of accounts receivables.
Representative Duties
Conducts follow-up on final billed claims by contacting government agencies, third party payers, and patient/guarantors via phone, e-mail or online.
Completes and maintains patient information and insurance information in practice management and/or billing system for continual accuracy.
Verifies diagnosis and appropriate authorization codes.
Identifies account responsibility and guarantors.
Verifies all identified insurance carriers for eligibility and benefits while conforming to carrier policy.
Reviews claims prior to submission to insurance carrier for accuracy and completion.
Corrects and submits insurance claims.
Follows up on accounts until resolved, sent to legal, or disputed.
Responsible for maintaining inventory on desks with no backlog.
Researches, processes, and corrects accounts including the review and adjustment of account balances as appropriate.
Interprets explanation of benefits correspondence (EOBs) analyzing all reported components for accuracy.
Posts charges, payments and adjustments in billing system/database.
Ensures correct and prompt claims payments through confirmation from providers.
Corrects, tracks, and follows up on denied, outstanding, and/or contested claims.
Provides assistance to patients, carriers, and other concerned parties.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years experience in a Medical office setting with billing experience preferred.
Superior verbal communication and telephone skills required.
Ability to negotiate productive arrangements with insurance and private payers.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
